Meet the Staff

Michael B. Kline, CLU, LUTCF
President – MBK Financial Services, Ltd.

Mike Kline has been practicing in the financial services business for over 21 years. Mike was the co-host of the Real Money Show, a radio show that educated its listeners on financial issues. The show aired on weekends on the Clear Channel Chicago AM stations.  Mike also has been the host of the Daily Business Report, as heard on the News Talk Radio WAIT.

Mike received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland’s Business School in 1986. Mike received his CLU designation from the American College in 2001. While studying at the University of Maryland, Mike participated on the
Power Lifting Team and competed at the tournament level.

Mike served a distinguished career in the U.S. Army Reserves for 10 years as an officer; a commander and as a staff officer. Some of the positions he held included platoon leader, executive officer and company commander of a Rapid Deployment
Unit.

Mike spends his personal time as a coach in youth baseball and basketball; working with his son and daughter’s team in the spring, summer and fall. Mike resides in Hinsdale, Illinois with his wife and two children and two dogs.

Jennifer Gacek
Financial Assistant - MBK Financial Services, Ltd.

Jennifer Gacek has been assisting in the financial services business for almost 3 years. As a Financial Assistant, she supports in an administrative capacity; maintaining high standards in customer service.

Prior to joining MBK Financial Services, Ltd., Jennifer was a Pre-School Director of between 300 to 650 children in Westmont, Illinois.

Jennifer attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.  She also is a graduate from Hinsdale Central High School, where she enjoyed competing in gymnastics. Jennifer spent 10 years as a competitive gymnast, placing 2^nd and 8^th in High School tournaments.

Jennifer spends her personal time being a wife; a mother to Elizabeth & Danielle; coaching preschool gymnastics; creating scrapbooks; and exercising.

Jennifer resides in Westmont, Illinois with her husband, two children and their dog, Benedict.

 Susan Shaw-Glabinski

 Marketing Director – MBK Financial Services, Ltd.

 Susan Shaw-Glabinski has recently joined our staff during the summer.  She assists Jennifer in customer service matters as well as developing ways to reach new clientele.

During the time prior to joining the staff she worked as a front office manager and marketing director at Illinois Gymnastics Institute in Westmont, Illinois for 4 years and as an office manager and sales manager at CCN Wireless in Downers Grove, Illinois for 2 years.

Susan attended McCormack Junior Business College in Chicago, Illinois.  She completed 2 years with an Executive Secretarial Degree.  She graduated from Good Counsel High School in Chicago, Illinois where she took general and business related courses.

Susan has raised five children and spends her free time caring for abandoned pets.  Along with her husband, she has been living in Westmont, Illinois for the last 23 years.
